Abel FRANKLIN, SR.

Abel was born on May 18th, 1690 in Dartmouth, Bristol, Mass. Abel's father was James FRANKLIN and his mother was Unice Barnes. His paternal grandparents were Thomas FRANCKLINE and Jane WHITE. He had three brothers and two sisters, named James, John, Daniel, Mary and Lydia. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 63 on September 13th, 1753 in Jamestown, Newport, Rhode Island. He was buried in South Kingstown, Washington, Rhode Island.
