Benjamin was born on July 3rd, 1658 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts. Benjamin's father was John FOSTER and his mother was Mary (Marie) TOMPKINS. His paternal grandparents are Mr. FOSTER and Mrs. FOSTER; his maternal grandparents were Ralph (Tomkins) TOMPKINS and Katherine FOSTER. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named John, Samuel, Jonathan, Jonathan, Joseph, David, Jonathon, Ebenezer, Mary, Elizabeth, Hannah and Martha. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died in Young.General Notes
