Major Henry was born in 1600 in East Sutton Mano, East Sutton, Kent, England. Major Henry's father was Edward FILMER and his mother was Elizabeth ARGALL. His paternal grandfather was Robert FILMER and his paternal grandmother is Frances CHESTER; his maternal grandparents were Richard ARGALL and Mary SCOTT. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Edward, John, Reignold, Mary, Elizabeth, Katherine and Sara. He was the third youngest of the nine children.
