Roy Wilhoite Epperson 
Roy Wilhoite was born in 1904 in Charleston, Tenn. Roy Wilhoite's father was Joseph Oscar Epperson and his mother was Mary Katherine (Mary Kate) Bolen. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Epperson and Sarah Ann Fuller. He had two brothers and a sister, named Joseph Bolen, William Hoyle and Lulian Ruthelle. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 66 in 1970 in Athens, Tenn.-
