John Wesley Epperson 
John Wesley was born in May 1836 in Scott County, Virginia. John Wesley's father was Stephen T. Epperson and his mother was Elizabeth (Polly) Wolfe. His paternal grandfather was William EPPERSON and his paternal grandmother is Nancy Vine Hicks. He had three brothers and six sisters, named William Harrison, Joseph Henry, Isaac, Mary (Polly) Ann, Elvira, Orena, Delphia Ann, Sarah Rebecca and Linda Minervia. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 75 in 1911 in Estilleville, Scott County, VA..-
