Edward EVANS 
Edward was born on May 28th, 1838 in Clwyd Y Fagwyr, Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorganshire, Wales. Edward's father was Thomas EVANS and his mother was Margaret POWELL. His paternal grandparents were Edward Darlun EVANS and Jennet Jones POWELL; his maternal grandparents were Thomas POWELL and Ann LEWIS. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Evan, Morgan, Howell, William, Jennette Eveline, Margaret, Mary, Elizabeth Jane and Ann Caroline. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 18 in May 1856.General Notes
