Michael (Twin) ELPHINSTONE

Michael (Twin) was born on September 26th, 1544 in Of, Pittendreich, Stirlingshire, Scotland. Michael (Twin)'s father was Alexander ELPHINSTONE and his mother is Katherine ERSKINE. His paternal grandparents were Alexander ELPHINSTONE and Elizabeth BARLOW (BERCLAY); his maternal grandfather was John ERSKINE and his maternal grandmother is Margaret CAMPBELL. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Robert, John, James, Alexander, William (Twin), Margaret, Marjory, Isobel, Janet and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 80 on February 14th, 1625 in Canongate, Edinburgh, Mid-Lothian, Scotland. He was buried in Parish Church, Airth, , Scotland.
