John Epperson B. was born in 1859 in Tennessee. John Epperson B.'s father was James Dobbs and his mother was Mary (Polly) Ann Epperson. His maternal grandparents were Stephen T. Epperson and Elizabeth (Polly) Wolfe. He had a brother named Stephen Jesse. He was the older of the two children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Harvey, James Madison, William L., Louisa, Nancy C. and Mary E.. He died at the age of 31 in 1890 in Texas.-
