Vernon Lakano Dilling 
Vernon Lakano was born on April 18th, 1900 in Fairview, Brown Co., KS. Vernon Lakano's father was George Nicodemus Dilling and his mother was Alice Elizabeth Rogers. His paternal grandparents were Henry Hoover Dilling and Sarah Nicodemus. He had four brothers and a sister, named Denton Alonzo, Rex Henry, Leo Trent, Glen and Lavina Artensa. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 66 on April 30th, 1966 in Gary, Lake Co., IN.-
