Fannie M. was born on October 8th, 1898 in Martinsburg, Blair Co., PA. Fannie M.'s father was John Martin Hoover Dilling and her mother was Margaret Malinda Burget. Her paternal grandparents were John Hoover Dilling and Susannah Long Hoover. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John Alvin, George Cleveland, Nancy Bertha, Ida May, Mary Elizabeth and Susie Vera. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 55 on February 25th, 1954 in Martinsburg, Blair Co., PA. She was buried in Brumbaugh Cem., No. Woodbury Twp., Blair Co., PA.-
