George Walter was born on April 5th, 1889 in Riverton, Salt Lake County, Utah, USA. George Walter's father was Charles Nephi Dansie and his mother was Nine Etta Silcock. His maternal grandparents were Nicholas Thomas Silcock and Jane Heath. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Charles William, Henry Franklin, Alfred Benjamin, Parley Alonzo, Feramortz Liston, Julian LeGrande, Nina LaGlora and Golda Pearl. He is the third oldest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Margaret Jane.-
