Adélaïde was born about 0968.  Adélaïde's father was Geoffroy I "Grisegonnelle" Count Of ANJOU and her mother was Adelaide de Vermandois.  Her paternal grandparents were Foulques II "le Bon" Count Of ANJOU and Gerberga of Maine Vermandois; her maternal grandparents were Robert Count Of VERMANDOIS AND MEAUX and Adelaide Adelais De Bourgogne. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Foulques III Of, Fulco lll The Black Count of, Ermangarde Gisgonelle D' and Gilbergue.  She was the second youngest of the five children. She had two half-brothers named Liétaud Ier and Geoffrey Count.  She died in 1047.
