Oda von was born about 1249 in Of, Diepholz, Hannover, Prussia.  Oda von's father is Johann von DIEPHOLZ and her mother is Hedwig Countess of LIMMER. She had four brothers and a sister, named Rudolf von, Konrad von, Otto von, Gottschalk von and Elisabeth von.  She is the youngest of the six children.
