Hendrick was born about 1672 in Bergen, Bergen, New Jersey.  Hendrick's father was Hansz DEDERICKS and his mother is Margrietje WARNARTS. He had a brother and a sister, named Wander Hansz and Neeltje.  He is the oldest of the three children.
