Mary was born about 1744 in Sc Or Ga. Mary's father was James DEVEAUX and her mother was Anne FAIRCHILD. Her paternal grandfather was Andrew DEVEAUX and her paternal grandmother is Magdalen Ann LE SADE; her maternal grandparents were Richard FAIRCHILD and Anne BELLINGER. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James, William, Peter, Lucy, Elizabeth, Ann Eliza and Margaret. She is the third youngest of the eight children.General Notes
