Dorcas was born on February 2nd, 1715 in Attleboro, Bristol, Ma. Dorcas' father was Nathaniel DAY and her mother was Ruth ROWE. Her paternal grandparents were Anthony DAY and Susan Or Susanna MATCHET; her maternal grandparents were Hugh ROWE and Rachel LANGTON. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Benjamin, Nathaniel, Nathaniel, David, Ruth, Rechall, Meriam, Mary, Rachel, Meriam and Deborah. She was the youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 44 on March 22nd, 1759 in Norwich, New London, Connecticut.General Notes
