James Monroe Crain

James Monroe was born about 1850 in Williamson Co.,Illinois. James Monroe's father was Elias F. Crain and his mother was Harriett M. Thaxton. His maternal grandparents were James C. Thaxton and (Mrs) ???. He had a brother and three sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named William J\Spencer, Julia A., Lurana, Elizabeth, Wilthy J. and Jesse M.. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died on January 19th, 1905 in Wolf Creek,Williamson Co.,Illinois.
