James CROFFORD

James was born on September 13th, 1733 in Union Twp, Tolland Co, Connecticut.  James' father was James CROFFORD and his mother was Elizabeth CAMPBELL.  His paternal grandfather is Aaron CRAWFORD; his maternal grandfather is UNKNOWN CAMPBELL. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Robert, William, Hugh, Andrew, Andrew, Margaret, Jane and Jane.  He was the oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 73 on January 10th, 1807 in Putney, Windham, Vt.
