He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Alexander Noraine, Darius Salem, Heber Taylor, Warren Foote, Lester Elden, Margaret Eliza, Marilla Louisa, Mary Irene, Nancy Jane, Rosilla May, Alta Eva and Annie Loretta. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 83 on December 7th, 1948 in Lewisville, Jefferson, Id.
