Mary was born about 1430 in Of, Fen Ditton, Cambridgeshire, England. Mary's father was Lawrence CHENEY and her mother is Elizabeth COKAYNE. Her paternal grandparents were William CHENEY and Catherine PABENHAM; her maternal grandparents were John COKAYNE and Edith (Ida) De GREY.
