James CARTER 
James was born in 1768 in Carters Station, Greene Co., Tennessee. James' father was John CARTER. His paternal grandparents were George CARTER and Elizabeth FULL. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John II, Jacob, Daniel, Abraham, Rebecca, Eleanor, UNKNOWN, Rebecca and Dorotha. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 81 in 1849 in , Monroe, Tennessee. He was buried in , Monroe, Tennessee.General Notes
