Jewel Byers

Jewel was born on November 8th, 1896 in , Parker, Texas. Jewel's father was Wailes Lorenzo Byers and her mother was Miranda Jane Boyd. Her maternal grandparents were Pleasant Harris Boyd and Serepta Rachel Hunter. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Louis Leonard, Alvin Nathan, Rulia Ruth and Esther Lee. She was the oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother named Thomas Boyd. She died at the age of 1 on March 13th, 1898 in , Parker, Texas.
