John Brown

John was born on June 8th, 1785 in , Randolph, North Carolina.  John's father was John Brown and his mother was Mary MORGAN.  His paternal grandfather was John Brown and his paternal grandmother is Sarah Coffin; his maternal grandparents are Lewis MORGAN and Nancy UNKNOWN. He had a brother and three sisters, named David, Nancy, Sallie and Mary.  He was the third oldest of the five children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Hugh, James, Lewis Morgan, Ezekiel, Jabez H., Rosannah, Nancy Elizabeth (Betsy Or Peggy) and Mary (Polly).  He died at the age of 58 on October 5th, 1843.
