Maritje Brinkerhoff 
Maritje was born on February 27th, 1709 in Hackensack, Bergen, New Jersey. Maritje's father was Cornelius Brinkerhoff and her mother was Algie or Aagtye Vreeland. Her paternal grandparents are Hendrick Joris Brinkerhoff and Claesie Cornelise Bogert; her maternal grandparents are Hartman Michielse Vreeland and Metje or Neesje Braecke. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Hendrick, Hartman, Claesie, Geesje and Aegie. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 66 on September 23rd, 1775.General Notes

‌Maritje and Helmig Johannese were married in a religious ceremony on September 26th, 1735 in ,Bergen,N.J.. They had three sons and three daughters, and also two children of unknown gender, named Jacob, Cornelius, Johannes Halmagh, Aeffie, Catalyntie, Cathryn, Antje and Maritie.
