Elizabeth was born on January 15th, 1841 in Randolph, Portage Co., OH. Elizabeth's father was Henry BRUMBAUGH and her mother was Catharine Stiffler. Her maternal grandparents were Henry Stiffler and Nancy Hoover. She had nine brothers and four sisters, named Henry, Andrew, Ephraim, Jacob, Isaac, Conrad Lester, Samuel, Henry P., Eli, Nancy, Mary, Susan and Lydia. She is the seventh oldest of the fourteen children.-
