Timothy was born in 1740 in NEWARK, ESSEX, New Jersey. Timothy's father is Timothy BRUEN and his mother was PHEBE CANFIELD. His paternal grandparents are ELEAZER BRUEN and Ruth BALDWIN; his maternal grandparents were ISREAL CANFIELD and Sarah Johnson. He had three brothers and a sister, named David, JEREMIAH, ELIJAH and Sarah. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 58 in 1798.-
