George Alfred BRANDON 
George Alfred was born on October 5th, 1840 in Cannon Co., Tn.. George Alfred's father was Armstrong Joseph BRANDON and his mother was Sarah (Sally) TENPENNY. His paternal grandparents are Armstrong William BRANDON and Hannah EMIN; his maternal grandparents were Richard TENPENNY and Barbara SCHUMAN. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John Richard, T Richard, J Andrew, Joseph Armstrong, William, Martha Jane, A Nannie and Mary. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 75 on October 6th, 1915 in Cannon Co., Tn.General Notes
