Michael was born in 1751 in , Laurens, Sc. Michael's father was Robert BOX and his mother was Mary ALLEN. His paternal grandparents are John BOX and Rachel BOX; his maternal grandfather is Arthur ALLEN. He had seven brothers named Robert, Mister, William, Samuel, John, Edward and Henery. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 69 in 1820 in Banks Co. Mo., Or Franklin, Tn.General Notes
