Edith Matilda was born in , Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.  Edith Matilda's father was Malcolm III Of SCOTLAND and her mother was Margaret "Atheling" Queen Of SCOTLAND.  Her paternal grandparents were Duncan Ⅰ Of SCOTLAND and Sibyl Biornsson; her maternal grandparents were Edward Atheling and Agatha Von Brunswick. She had eight brothers and a sister, named Edward Prince Of, Edmund Prince Of, Ethelred Prince Of, Prince Of, Prince Of, David I Of, Edgar King Of, Alexander I King Of and Mary Princess Of.  She died on May 1st, 1118 in , Westminster, Middlesex, England.  She was buried in June 1118 in Church Of St Peter, Westminster, Middlesex, England.
