John ASHTON 
John was born on June 21st, 1607 in , Middleton, Lancashire, England. John's father was Richard ASHTON and his mother was Mary VENABLES. His paternal grandfather was Richard ASHTON and his paternal grandmother is Mary BYRON; his maternal grandparents were Thomas VENABLES and Elizabeth BRERETON. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Ralph, James, William, Thomas, Dorothy and Ann. He was the third oldest of the eight children.
