George ASHBY 
George was born in 1746 and his baptism took place on June 22nd, 1746 in Ashover, Derbys., Engl. George's father is Richard ASHBY and his mother was Sarah MARRIOTT. His maternal grandparents are Joseph MARRIOTT and Dorothy HASLAM. He had four brothers and a sister, named Joseph, Richard, William, John and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 21 on April 26th, 1767.General Notes
