Gerberga was born in 0913 in Nordhausen, Saxony, Prussia.1   Gerberga's father was Heinrich (Henry) Von Babenberg and her mother was Matilda Von Ringelheim.  Her paternal grandparents were Otto UNKNOWN and Hedwig "Edith" Von Bavaria; her maternal grandparents were Dietrich Von Ringelheim and Reginhilde Von Friesland. She had three brothers and a sister, named Henry II 'The Quarrelsome', Bruno, Otto and Hedwig.  She died in Rheims, Marne, France.  She was buried in Reims, Marne, France.2 3 


Gerberga's first family with Giselbert (Gilbert) De Lorraine

‌Gerberga and Giselbert (Gilbert) were married in a religious ceremony in 0929.3   They had a son and three daughters, named Henri, Alberade (Aubree), Gerberga and Wiltrude.


Gerberga's second family with Louis UNKNOWN

‌Gerberga and Louis were married in a religious ceremony in 0939.2   They had two sons and five daughters, named Lothair, Charles, Mathilda, Matilda, Hildegardin, Princess Of France, Countess Of, Constance and Hildegarde.
