Conan was born in 0340.  Conan's father was Caradoc (Geraint) Ap Einydd.  His paternal grandfather was Einydd Ap Gwrddwfn.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 81 in 0421.


Conan's first family with Dareca Niccalpurnius

They had seventeen sons and two daughters, named Echea, Lalloca, Mel-Noch, Rioch, Munis, Cruman, Loman, Loarn, Ciaran, Carantog, Columb, Brychan, Brendan, Fine, Melchu, Bolcan, Gradlon Mawr 'The Great' Urbien, Midgma and Magalle.
