He had five brothers and five sisters, named Walter, Richard Fitzgilbert, Gilbert Fitzgilbert, Hervey Walter, Baldwin Fitzgilbert, Rohese, Agnes, Margaret Fitzgilbert, Alice-Adeliza and Adeliza (Alice).
