Stephen Longspee

Stephen was born in 1216 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.¹ Stephen's father was William Longspee and his mother was Ela Fitzpatrick. His paternal grandparents were Henry Plantagenet and Isabella (Ida) Plantagenet De Warenne; his maternal grandparents were William Fitzpatrick and Eleanor-Alianore De Vitre. He had a brother and three sisters, named William, Ida, Ela and Isabel. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 44 in 1260 in Sutton, Northamptonshire, England. He was buried in Lacock, Wiltshire, England.¹¹
