Ragnald was born in 1145. Ragnald's father was Somerled King Of The Isles and his mother was Ragnhild Olafsdottir. His paternal grandparents were Gillebride UNKNOWN and Daughter Of Paul UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were Olaf I Bitling 'The Red' King Of Man & The Isles and Ingibiorg Haakonsdottir. He had four brothers and a sister, named Dugald, Gillebrigte, Olaf, Angus and Bethag. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 65 in 1210.-
