Barbara Hamilton

Barbara was born about 1533 in Arran, Buteshire, Scot Of Chatelhe and her baptism took place in Hamilton, Lanark, Scot. Barbara's father was James Hamilton and her mother was Margaret Douglas. Her paternal grandparents were James Hamilton and Janet Beaton; her maternal grandparents were James Douglas and Catherine Stewart. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Gavin, James, David, Claud, Anne, Jean Jone and Christian. She died in 1558.
