Ellen Margaret was born in 1282 in Chacombe, Northamptonshire, England. Ellen Margaret's father was John De Segrave and her mother was Christiana De Plessetis. Her paternal grandparents were Nicholas De Segrave and Maud Lucy; her maternal grandparents were Hugh De Plessetis and Joan De Hoyville. She had a brother and a sister, named Stephen and Christian. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 35 on February 9th, 1317.-
