Gruffydd Ap Maredudd

Gruffydd was born in 1093 in Montgomeryshire, Wales. Gruffydd's father was Maredudd Ap Bleddyn King Of Powys and his mother was Hunnydd Ferch Einydd. His paternal grandparents were Bleddyn Ap Cynfyn King Of Powys and Haer Ferch Cillin; his maternal grandparents were Einydd Ap Gwernwy and Eva Ferch Llewelyn. He had two brothers and a sister, named Madog, Iorweth Goch and Dyddyn. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 35 in 1128.
