Rhys Ap Gruffydd

Rhys was born in 1300 in Llansadwrn, Llandovery, Carmarthenshire.  Rhys' father was Gruffydd Ap Hywell and his mother was Efa Ferch Gruffud Hir.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 56 in 1356 in Wichnor, Stafford.

They had a son named Rhys.
