Jurian Westfall 
Jurian was born about 1625 in Prussia, Germany.1 Jurian's father was Nicholas Jurian Westfall and his mother was Mrs Westfall. His paternal grandfather was Jurian Westfall. He was an only child. He died in 1667 in Ulster County, New York.1 General Notes

Jurian came to America on the ship Den Houttyn which sailed from Texel, Hollandon June 6, 1642 & arrived in NY on August 11, 1642. He first settled at Rensse
aerswyck. Became a tenant farmer. On Jan. 14, 1649 he with Jochem Kettelhuyn,
ook over a lease of a farm on Papscanee Island from Evert Pels. Jurian went to
Kingston about 1652, being one of the earliest settlers. THe Papscanee Island
arm was leased to Pieter Hartgers on May 1, 1653.
They had a son named Nicholas.
