Joan Warburton

Joan was born about 1430 in Of Arley, Cheshire, England.¹ Joan's father was Geoffrey Warburton and her mother was Ellen Bruyn. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Warburton and Alice Braylsford; her maternal grandparents were John Bruyn and Margaret Massey. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Peter (Piers), Thomas, John, Richard, Petronel, Marion and Elizabeth (Jane). She was the second oldest of the eight children.
