James Waite 
James was born on December 31st, 1780 in Bishops cannings.1 James' father was William Waite and his mother was Jane Hasle. His paternal grandparents were John Waite and Martha Hamms; his maternal grandparents were Ralph Hazel and Hazel. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Ralph, William, John, Isaac, Elizabeth, Hannah and Jane. He was the third youngest of the nine children.General Notes
