Ramon was born in 1005 in Barcelona, Spain.1 Ramon's father was Ramón I Borrel Of Barcelona and his mother was Ermensinde Of Carcassonne**. His paternal grandparents were Borrell II (De Urgel) Of Barcelona and Luitgarde De Toulouse; his maternal grandparents were Roger I Count Of Carcassonne and Adelaide Countess of Melgueil. He had three sisters named Estefania de, Godeheut and Adaele. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 30 on May 26th, 1035.
