Robert III De Stuteville 
Robert III De was born about 1070 in Estouteville-Ecales, Normandy, France.1 Robert III De's father was Robert II De Stuteville and his mother was Adeliza Alice De Beaumont. His paternal grandparents were Robert I d' Estouteville and Jeanne de Talbot; his maternal grandparents were Ivo De Beaumont and Judith Adelaide de Gournay. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Ivo, Rohesia, Rothès and Agnes. He died after 1116 in Normandy, France - of Cottingham, Yorkshire, England. Robert de Estoteville acquired a great inheritance with his wife, Eneburga, daughter and heir of Hugh, son of Baldrick, a great Saxon thane, and among other lands, had the lordship of Schypwyc, or Skipwic. He left three sons, Robert, Osmund, and Patrick. During the reign of King Henry II Robert laid claim to the barony of Roger de Moubray which, on the rebellion of his father, had been given to Nigel de Albini, father of the said Roger de Moubray, and part of which he received back by arbitration. He married Erneburga, daughter and heiress of Hugh, son of Baldric, a great Saxon Thane, and, among other lands, had the lordship of Skipwith, or Skipwic as anciently written, in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
