His paternal grandparents were Hlodver Earl of Orkney and Andria de Ireland; his maternal grandparents were King of Scotland Malcolm and Queen Of Scotland Aefgifu. He had a brother named Brusi Brusee. He was the younger of the two children. He died about 1064.1 General Notes
