Aslaug was born in 0800 in Jutland, Denmark.1 Aslaug's father was Sigurd Snake-in-Eye Ragnarsson King of Denmark and her mother was Heluna Bleja Princess In England. Her paternal grandparents were Ragnar Lodbrock Sigurdson and Aslaug Sigurdsdottir; her maternal grandfather was Ella King Indiana England. She had a brother and a sister, named Canute I Knud' and Thora. She was the oldest of the three children.General Notes
