John E. Sevey 
John E. was born on May 30th, 1871.1 John E.'s father was John Orlando Sevey and his mother was Flora Jane Lee. His paternal grandfather was George W Sevey; his maternal grandparents were Josiah Lee and Lorinda Eldridge. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Willis Devillo, Orlando Ulysus, Harvey A., Adda L., Nettie S., Nellie A. and Agnes Lucinda. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 47 on October 5th, 1918. He was buried in Edgewood Cemetery, IA.1 1 General Notes
