Elva Jane Sevey 
Elva Jane was born on May 25th, 1896 in Edgewood, Clayton, Ia.1 Elva Jane's father was Orlando Ulysus Sevey and her mother was Nancy Ann Fishel. Her paternal grandparents were John Orlando Sevey and Flora Jane Lee; her maternal grandparents were Jacob Fishel and Emeline Wiltse. She had three brothers and a sister, named Clifton E., Clifford, Luther Jay and Lula Emma. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 80 on June 6th, 1976 in Garden Grove, Orange, Ca. She was buried in Rosehills, Whittier, California.1 1 General Notes
