John Setters 
John was born on April 10th, 1819 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana.1 John's father was John A. Setters and his mother was Elizabeth Shrout. His paternal grandfather was John Setters; his maternal grandparents were Casper Shrout and Rebecca. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, Peter Jackson, Jemima, Rebecca, Abigail, Elizabeth and Mary Elenda. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 64 on May 18th, 1883 in Adair, Missouri.1 General Notes
